Andrew W. Salmond

Andrew W. Salmond joined joined the firm in 2008. Born in Fullerton, California, he attended California State University of Fresno as an undergraduate, receiving his degree in Agricultural Business. Thereafter, Mr. Salmond attended Whittier College School of Law, graduating in 1993.

After passing the Bar in 1993, Mr. Salmond began working for a medical negligence defense firm in Irvine. In 2004, Mr. Salmond took a job with an Environmental Engineering firm as their General Counsel. In that capacity, he negotiated contracts and provided guidance and assistance with respect to compliance of State and Federal regulations dealing with storage of petroleum and other hazardous waste.

Since 2008, Mr. Salmond’s practice has focused on the defense of medical negligence claims and professional liability claims. In addition, he represented defendants in matters of general liability, personal injury, Elder Abuse, products liability and municipal liability. He represents clients from Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties.

Mr. Salmond is licensed to practice before all the courts in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District and Northern District of California.

Outside of the office, Mr. Salmond spends time with his wife, often traveling to see his four children and grandchildren. He is an avid reader and plays golf.
